Thank you, Doctor Valerie. I would like to ask regarding my skin problems. I have undergone into an operation before regarding ovarian cyst and after that I experienced having a lot of acne. Is there a relation between the operation and having acne now? My skin has before been very clear, but as of now, I am experiencing having acne which I have never had before. Hello and thank you for reaching out to me at Lucent Aesthetic! I am sorry to hear about your battle with acne. We may have something to help. There are some ovarian conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome that may be related to hormonal changes, acne and hair growth.
